CBN Senior Tennis Championship Kicks Off in Abuja

The 47th Central Bank of Nigeria Senior Tennis Championship has begun at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, with the main draw battles commencing. In the men's singles, top seed Abua Cannic is set to compete against Ureyang in the opening round, while other notable players include second seed Michael Emmanuel and third seed Danjuma Lucki.

Thoma Otu, known as Star Boi, reached the quarter-final stage last year and aims for a better performance this year. In the women's singles, fourth seed Udofia Mari is determined to improve her game, competing against Toluwa Agubiad.

The tournament features a total of 64 players in the men's singles and 32 in the women's singles, with various wild card entrants. The championship promises to showcase competitive matches as players vie for the prestigious titles.
