B-Red Claims Adeleke Family Not in Politics for Money

B-Red, a singer and son of Ademola Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State, asserted that his family is not engaged in politics for monetary benefits, as they possess generational wealth. During an interview on the Echo Room podcast, he emphasized that his father and relatives are in politics to assist the populace.

B-Red expressed optimism that Nigeria would see significant improvements if his father were to become president, stating, “If my dad, Governor Ademola Adeleke, becomes the President of Nigeria, things will improve drastically.” However, he also mentioned that he does not wish for his father to pursue the presidency due to the immense pressure associated with the role. The Adeleke family has a notable political legacy, having produced two governors and senators, including the late Isiaka Adeleke and the current governor, Ademola Adeleke.

Additionally, several family members, including prominent Afrobeats artist Davido, hold significant positions within Governor Adeleke’s administration.
