B-Red Optimistic About Adeleke's Re-election in Osun

B-Red, the son of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, expressed his optimism regarding his father's chances in the governorship election taking place on Saturday. In a post on X, B-Red noted that he could see joy on his father's face as the election progressed.

Ademola Adeleke is seeking re-election on the platform of the Accord Party after previously being with the Peoples Democratic Party. He faces significant competition from Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress and Najeem Salaam of the African Democratic Congress.

The election is being conducted across 30 Local Government Areas and 3,763 polling units in Osun State. While voting has been largely peaceful, there have been reports of isolated incidents, including challenges with BVAS accreditation, alleged voter inducement, and disruptions at some polling locations.

Adeleke had previously called on security agencies to ensure the safety of voters and election officials while urging residents to maintain peace during the electoral process.
