B-Red Optimistic About Father Adeleke's Re-election Bid

B-Red, the son of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, expressed optimism regarding his father's chances of re-election in the ongoing governorship election. This statement was made on Saturday evening as the collation of results began across the state.

B-Red noted he could see "joy and happiness" on his father's face during this critical time. Ademola Adeleke is seeking a second term under the Accord Party after leaving the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He faces significant competition from Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Najeem Salaam of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). The election took place across 30 Local Government Areas and 3,763 polling units, with reports indicating that voting was largely peaceful, despite some isolated incidents involving BVAS accreditation issues and alleged voter inducement.

Adeleke had previously urged security agencies to ensure the safety of voters and electoral officials while calling for a peaceful electoral process.
