B-Red Discusses Adeleke Family's Political Motivations

Nigerian singer B-Red, whose father is Ademola Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State, discussed his family's political motivations during an interview on the Echo Room podcast. He asserted that financial gain is not the driving force behind their political engagement, as the Adeleke family had already amassed wealth prior to entering politics.

B-Red noted that his father and other family members entered politics to assist the community. The Adeleke family has a significant political presence, having produced two governors and senators, including the late Isiaka Adeleke and the current governor, Ademola Adeleke.

While B-Red expressed confidence in his father's ability to improve Nigeria if he were to become president, he admitted to having mixed feelings about this possibility, stating he would prefer Ademola Adeleke to avoid the presidency due to the immense pressure associated with the office.
