General Rabe's Son Denies Diabetes, Confirms Snake Bite Death

Isyaka, the son of General Rabe, stated that his father was not diabetic, countering reports suggesting diabetes as a cause of death. He insisted that a snake bite was the actual cause.

General Rabe's death was announced by the Katsina State government, and Isyaka expressed his deep religious beliefs and described his father as a peaceful man who lived a simple life. He noted that there was no information regarding the circumstances surrounding the recovery of his father's body.

Isyaka also mentioned that his mother was abducted alongside his father and remained in captivity, dismissing social media reports about her release. The abduction occurred on May 30, 2026, along Marabar Musawa Kafinsoli Road in the Matazu Local Government Area of Katsina State.

Family sources maintained that the snake bite was the cause of General Rabe's death, despite the government citing complications from diabetes and hypertension.
