O.B. Lulu-Briggs Foundation's Free Medical Mission Benefits 5,000

The O.B. Lulu-Briggs Foundation conducted its 45th free medical mission from March 16 to March 20, 2026, at the Model Primary Healthcare Centre in Ogu, benefiting over 5,000 individuals, including 3,439 women and 1,673 men.

The outreach addressed a wide range of health conditions and drew a large crowd, emphasizing the significant gap in healthcare access for underserved communities. The mission was formally inaugurated on March 18 and was led by Dr.

Mr. Seiny O.B.

Lulu-Briggs, who noted the critical need to tackle barriers to healthcare. The foundation has been providing care for two decades, aiming to help vulnerable populations lacking access to a functional healthcare system.

Surgical procedures included hernia repairs, lipoma excisions, appendectomies, and hydrocelectomies. A total of 77 medical and 32 non-medical volunteers, led by Dr.

Famba Famba Daniel, delivered services spanning consultations, diagnostics, and follow-up care. The foundation's free medical mission program has reached 195,000 beneficiaries across multiple states, alongside interventions in education, water supply, and economic support.
