Kano Prepares Over 9,680 Volunteers for Online Pre-Voter Registration, Ensures Inclusive Participation

Over 9,680 volunteers are set to participate in the online pre-voter registration exercise in Kano State across 484 wards and 44 Local Government Areas. The volunteers, equipped with Android phones, will assist eligible individuals in registering online.

The initiative aims to ensure effective coverage of the registration process, with a minimum of 20 volunteers per ward. The volunteers, including women, will be trained on the online registration process to facilitate smooth operations at the polling unit level.

The meeting held by the state Task Force on Mobilization for Voters Registration emphasized the importance of creating synergy among volunteers to enhance the registration exercise.
