Oyebanji Advocates Peace Ahead of June 20 Election

Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship flag bearer, addressed a rally in Iker, urging peaceful conduct ahead of the June 20 governorship election. He stated that his re-election is not worth the blood of any citizen and emphasized the need for a violence-free election.

Oyebanji called on party members and citizens to remain calm and work towards a peaceful electoral process. He noted that there had been no recorded violence during his campaign and expressed optimism for a harmonious re-election atmosphere.

Oyebanji reiterated his commitment to peace and urged all stakeholders to avoid actions that could lead to loss of life. He praised his deputy, Monisade Afuye, for her loyalty and contributions to the administration's success.
