Oyebanji Advocates for Peaceful Elections in Ekiti State

Biodun Oyebanji, the current Governor of Ekiti State and the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, has called for a peaceful electoral process as the state approaches the June 20 governorship election. During a rally in Iker Local Government Area, he emphasized that no election is worth bloodshed and urged politicians to shun violence.

Oyebanji appealed to party loyalists to conduct their campaigns peacefully and to refrain from actions that could lead to unrest during the election period. He also encouraged residents to support the APC, highlighting the administration's ongoing infrastructure projects, including major road developments.

Oyebanji disclosed plans to commence work on the Ijan road and establish the Olow Museum to promote art, culture, and tourism in the community. He expressed confidence in the APC's ability to secure massive support across the state, particularly following the defection of members from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC.
