Oyebanji Urges Ekiti Youths to Embrace Empowerment Initiatives

During the International Youth Day Summit organized by the National Youth Council of Nigeria in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji encouraged the state's youth to utilize various empowerment programs initiated by his administration. Represented by the Commissioner for Youth Development, Gold Adedayo, Oyebanji highlighted the government's strategic focus on youth development, which includes creating opportunities in entrepreneurship, skills acquisition, and digital innovation.

He mentioned direct financial support for youth organizations, skills training, and the provision of innovation platforms. The governor advised against seeking quick wealth through shortcuts, stressing that sustainable success requires discipline and hard work.

He assured the youth of his administration's commitment to fostering an enabling environment for their growth. Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Adeoye Aribasoye, also urged youths to actively participate in shaping the future, while Segun Bankole, Chairman of the NYCN Ekiti chapter, praised the governor's commitment to youth empowerment.
