Sanwo-Olu Congratulates Oyebanji on Ekiti Victory

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State and Chairman of the South West Governor Forum, congratulated Biodun Oyebanji on his victory in the Ekiti State governorship election held on Saturday. Oyebanji, who is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), won with a significant margin, securing 83.54% of the total votes cast.

In a congratulatory message issued on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Media, Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-Olu commended the peaceful conduct of the election and the electorate's support for Oyebanji. He described the outcome as a reward for Oyebanji's outstanding performance during his first term and expressed confidence that the APC would not disappoint the people of Ekiti State.

Sanwo-Olu also emphasized the importance of Oyebanji's renewed mandate in strengthening the APC's position in the Southwest and providing opportunities for further development initiatives across Ekiti State. Uba Sani, the Kaduna State Governor, praised President Bola Tinubu for his leadership in transforming Nigeria's socio-economic landscape.
