In a statement issued on Sunday, Bamidele, who is the Chairman of the APC Governorship Elect Campaign Council in Ekiti, noted that Oyebanji's first term laid the foundation for his second term victory, where he garnered 319,224 votes against Dr.

Wole Oluyede of the PDP, who received 40,543 votes, and Mr. Dare Bejid of the ADC, who obtained 12,872 votes.

Bamidele emphasized that the election outcome reflects the people's confidence in Oyebanji's commitment to public welfare and prosperity.
