NGF Golf Summit Scheduled for August 26-27 in Abuja

The Nigeria Golf Federation (NGF) is organizing its second Summit for Golf Stakeholders, scheduled for August 26-27, 2023, at the NICON Luxury Hotel in Abuja. Otunba Olusegun Runsewe, President of the NGF, announced that the summit will attract participants from various sectors, including two former governors: Prince Oyinlola Olagunsoye of Osun State and Sen.

Simon Bako Lalong of Plateau State, both of whom are avid golfers. Mr.

Lawal Garba, Chairman of Trobel Nigeria Limited, will chair the summit, while His Royal Majesty, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla III of Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, will serve as the Royal Father of the Day. The event is expected to be significant, drawing captains of industry, golf administrators, and enthusiasts for discussions on the future of golf in Nigeria, including developments and investments.

Runsewe expressed confidence that the summit would be a transformative event for the sport in Nigeria.
