Nigeria Golf Summit Set for August 26-27 in Abuja

Lawal Garba, the Chairman of the forthcoming 2nd Nigeria Golf Summit, expressed his enthusiasm for the event scheduled to take place on August 26th and 27th at the NICON Luxury Hotel in Abuja. Garba, who is also the chairman of Trobell Nigeria Limited and a passionate golfer, views the summit as an opportunity for Nigerian golfers to advance in the sport.

He emphasized the importance of networking and learning during the summit, stating that it aims to foster connections among participants and promote golf development in Nigeria. His Royal Highness, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, will serve as the Royal Father of the event, which is expected to attract prominent personalities and stakeholders from the golf community.

Otunba Olusegun Runsewe, OON, President of the Nigeria Golf Federation, confirmed that arrangements for the summit are well underway and that it will build upon the success of the inaugural edition. Special Guests of Honour include former governors Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola and Sen. Simon Bako Lalong.
