Dignitaries Arrive for Nigeria Golf Summit in Abuja

The 2nd Nigeria Golf Summit is set to take place at the NICON Luxury Hotel in Abuja, with dignitaries from various African countries and parts of Europe arriving for the event. A.

Solomon, a World Handicap System official from Ghana, has already arrived. Otunba Olusegun Runsewe, President of the Nigeria Golf Federation, expressed his excitement about the anticipated guests, noting that the event will run from Wednesday to Friday, with Tuesday designated as the arrival day.

Approximately 50 golf clubs, each represented by a captain and handicap secretary, are expected to attend, totaling around 250 golfers and stakeholders. Runsewe emphasized that the summit will adhere to global best practices in the sport and highlighted the extensive logistics preparations made for the event.

His Royal Highness, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, will serve as the Royal Father of the event, while Mr. Lawal Garba, Chairman of Trobel Nigeria Limited, will chair the summit. Special Guests of Honour include Olagunsoye Oyinlola, a former governor of Osun State, and Sen. Simon Bako Lalong, a former governor of Plateau State.
