Oyinlola Denies Adeleke's Vehicle Claim Ahead of Election

Olagunsoye Oyinlola, the former Governor of Osun State, has dismissed claims made by the current governor, Ademola Adeleke, that he received a new vehicle from him prior to endorsing Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate. Oyinlola clarified that the vehicle was provided by the Osun State Government under a law enacted by the state House of Assembly, which prescribes benefits for former governors, including the replacement of official vehicles every four years.

He stated that he has been out of office for 16 years and is entitled to vehicles that should have been replaced during that time. Oyinlola also mentioned that the law includes provisions for security personnel and domestic staff.

This clarification came after Adeleke accused Oyinlola of political betrayal during a town hall meeting in Osogbo, where he claimed Oyinlola had not supported his political ambitions despite past support from the Adeleke family.
