Tinubu Announces Foreign Aid for Kidnap Victims' Rescue

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President of Nigeria, stated that the federal government is implementing foreign collaborations to secure the safe release of 47 kidnapped teachers and students from public and private schools in the Yawota Ahoro Esienl community, Oriire Local Government Area, Oyo State. During a visit to Ibadan on Thursday, Tinubu, alongside George Akume, the Secretary of the Federal Government, reassured residents of Oyo State that efforts to combat insecurity are being intensified.

He highlighted the government's serious approach to addressing the rise in banditry and kidnapping across the nation. Tinubu called on citizens to remain vigilant and support security agencies by sharing intelligence.

He noted that the administration has made substantial investments to strengthen the nation's security architecture, which is essential for economic development and stability. The government aims to ensure that every Nigerian, investor, and visitor can live and conduct business safely.
