Oyo APC Candidate Donates N25M to Fire Victims

Sharafadeen Alli, the APC governorship candidate for Oyo State, announced a donation of N25 million to assist traders affected by a fire that devastated Bode Market in Ibadan. During a visit to the market, Alli expressed sympathy for the victims who suffered losses due to the fire, which destroyed goods worth millions of naira, particularly in the herbal section.

He was accompanied by market leaders, including Babaloja Salau Oloya and Iyaloja Sikira Alaja. Alli, who currently represents the Oyo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, emphasized the need for prompt and empathetic support for citizens during crises.

He reassured the affected traders of the APC's commitment to their welfare and the restoration of hope in Oyo State. Additionally, Bimbo Adekanmbi, an APC women leader, contributed N5 million and 15,000 nose masks to enhance safety measures in the market.

The fire incident, which occurred earlier, left many traders counting their losses, with the cause still unknown.
