Oyo Govt Allocates ₦110M for Falconets' World Cup Qualifier Against Rwanda

The Oyo State Government has approved ₦110 million for the Falconets' World Cup qualifier match against Rwanda on September 27, 2025, at Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba. The decision was made during the State Executive Council meeting led by the Acting Governor at the Governor's Office in Agodi Secretariat, Ibadan.

The approved funds will cover logistics, accommodation, feeding, and security expenses for the Falconets during their stay in the state. This initiative aims to promote sports development and youth empowerment in Oyo State, aligning with Governor Seyi Makinde's sustainable development roadmap.

The Commissioner of Works urged residents and sports lovers in Ibadan and across Oyo State to support the Falconets in their quest for success.
