Oyo State Demolishes Kidnappers' Hideout in Ibadan

On Monday, the Oyo State Government carried out the demolition of a building identified as a hideout for kidnappers involved in the abduction of Busayo John Paul, the twin sons of former Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu. The demolition aims to reinforce the state's zero-tolerance stance against crime.

The operation was conducted by officials from the Ministry of Land and Housing in collaboration with security agencies, following intelligence reports linking the structure to a criminal gang responsible for the kidnapping. The incident occurred on June 3, when 12-year-old twin sons, Peter Paul and John Paul, were abducted along Elewura Ring Road in Ibadan while being taken to school.

They were later rescued during a coordinated operation by the Nigeria Police Force, which led to the arrest of two suspects. Government officials are continuing investigations to identify and demolish structures associated with such criminal activities.
