Parallex Bank Donates N10m to Lagos Athletes for Youth Games

Parallex Bank presented a donation of N10 million to support ten outstanding athletes from Lagos State, who are preparing for the 2025 National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State. The cash presentation took place at the bank's headquarters in Lagos, with each selected athlete receiving N1 million.

Dr. Olufemi Bakr, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Parallex Bank, stated that this gesture is part of the financial institution's commitment to youth empowerment and national growth. He emphasized that investing in young people is an investment in the future, as these athletes demonstrate excellence, discipline, and resilience.

Mr. Lekan Fatodu, the Director General of the Lagos State Sport Commission, commended Parallex Bank for its consistent support of the state's sports initiatives, describing the intervention as a model of corporate social responsibility. The partnership aims to discover and develop grassroots talent across various sports disciplines.
