Passengers Protest Air Peace Flight Delays at Heathrow

Passengers on an Air Peace flight from Heathrow to Nigeria expressed frustration over significant delays that left them stranded overnight at the airport. Initially scheduled to depart at 9:20 PM on Saturday, the flight was delayed to 10:20 PM, with passengers reporting a lack of communication from airline officials.

This prolonged uncertainty led to heightened frustration among travelers, who eventually were accommodated in a nearby hotel early Sunday morning. Air Peace later issued an email apologizing for the disruption and announced a new departure time.

Passengers described the experience as chaotic, citing poor communication as a worsening factor. Air Peace officials, speaking anonymously, attributed the disruption to technical issues but insisted that passengers were properly informed and given options, including rescheduling.

Following numerous complaints, the NCAA, represented by Michael Achimugu, confirmed that they are investigating the situation, which includes flight delays and unprocessed compensation claims.
