PDI Urges Offoboch to Run for Ogoja/Yala 2027 Seat

The People’s Democratic Initiative (PDI) has called on Princess Hadiza Musa Ujah Offoboch to announce her intention to contest for the Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency seat in the upcoming 2027 general elections. This appeal was made during a press briefing held in Abuja, attended by members of the Ogoja/Yala chapter.

PDI spokesperson Comrade Patrick Livingston emphasized Offoboch's extensive track record in humanitarian service and grassroots engagement, noting her philanthropic efforts through the Hadiza Musa Ujah Offoboch Foundation, which focuses on healthcare, education, and economic empowerment. The foundation has gained recognition for supporting local health centers and providing financial assistance to women in small-scale businesses.

The PDI highlighted Offoboch's empathy and commitment to public service as qualities that make her a strong candidate. The group also mentioned her affiliation with the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State and the strategic advantages this could bring, especially with the support of the grassroots mobilization efforts led by the state administration.
