PDP and APM Commend Oyo for Safe Return of Students

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) and the African People's Movement (APM) have expressed their approval of the safe return of students and teachers in Oyo State. They commended the federal government, state government, and security agencies for their roles in ensuring the victims' safe return.

The PDP statement was signed by Ini Ememobong, the faction's National Public Secretary, while the APM statement was signed by Hon. Abubakar Yusuf, the National Public Secretary of the party.

Both parties praised the effective tactics and resilience demonstrated by security agencies, including the military and police, as well as local intelligence units. They extended special commendation to Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde for his exemplary leadership and relentless efforts in securing the release of the victims.

The APM reminded stakeholders that the safety of educational institutions and communities should remain a top priority, urging the government to implement robust security measures around schools, particularly in vulnerable areas.
