PDP Successfully Uploads Candidates for 2027 Elections

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) announced the smooth uploading of candidates' names to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal for the upcoming 2027 elections. The party received access codes for the portal on Monday, and the initial phase of uploading candidates' names for the National Assembly and presidential elections is proceeding without serious hitches.

Sandi Ojang Onor is the PDP's presidential candidate, while the party is also fielding candidates for various senatorial and House of Representatives seats across the federation, as well as governorship positions in state houses of assembly. Haruna Moham, a member of the PDP National Working Committee (NWC), confirmed that the exercise has been smooth so far, with the party working diligently to meet the July 7 deadline for the final submission of candidates' names to the National Assembly.
