PDP Convention Enhances Unity and Democratic Readiness

Chibudum Nwuche, a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees, expressed that the recent PDP convention, held last Sunday, significantly strengthened the party's unity and readiness to participate in Nigeria's democratic processes. In a statement released on Tuesday, Nwuche praised the leadership of Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, for his efforts in maintaining party cohesion.

He described the convention as orderly and peaceful, reflecting the party's strong commitment to democratic principles and institutional stability. Nwuche acknowledged the contributions of key party leaders, including former Senate President Bukola Saraki and ex-governors Sule Lamido, Ahmed Makarfi, and Ibrahim Dankwambo, among others, noting their presence greatly contributed to the convention's success.

He congratulated the newly elected national officers, Abdulrahman Moham as National Chairman and Samuel Anyanwu as National Secretary, urging them to fulfill their duties with a strong sense of responsibility. Nwuche reiterated the importance of party members nationwide remaining steadfast in supporting PDP's collective progress.
