Anyanwu Denies Suspension Claims Amid PDP Tensions

Samuel Anyanwu, the National Secretary of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), has publicly refuted reports suggesting that an appeal court upheld his suspension. Speaking to journalists at a press conference in Ibadan, Anyanwu clarified that there is no suspension in effect, contradicting online reports.

He emphasized that the party remains intact and that the national convention is set to take place on March 29-30. Anyanwu's remarks come amid ongoing tensions within the party, particularly with a faction led by Tanimu Turaki, which is challenging the appeal court's ruling at the Supreme Court.
