PDP Reconciliation Efforts Stalled as Turaki Faction Appeals

The faction loyal to Nyesom Wike has adopted a hardline stance regarding leadership positions within the party. The NEC meeting, which took place in Bauchi State, aimed to address the leadership crisis and explore reconciliation options.

Despite the ongoing tensions, there is a scheduled convention for March 29-30. The Turaki faction has expressed dissatisfaction with the NEC's decisions, indicating that they may appeal to the Supreme Court to ensure their positions are recognized.
