Wike's PDP Faction Elects New NWC Leaders in Abuja

During a convention held at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, Nyesom Wike's faction of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) elected Mohammed as the National Chairman and Anyanwu as the National Secretary. The newly formed 21-member National Working Committee (NWC) includes key positions such as Aaron Chukwuemeka as Deputy National Chairman South and Yusufu Nya Akirikwen as Deputy National Chairman North.

Other notable members are Kolawal Olabisi (Deputy National Secretary), Odeyemei Mackson (National Treasurer), and Lado Dan Mark (Deputy National Treasurer). The event, which took place on a Sunday, was marked by a commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunities within the party.

Wike expressed optimism about the PDP's prospects in the upcoming 2027 elections, urging party members to embrace unity and demonstrate good character in their political endeavors.
