Bala Mohammed Lauds PDP's Performance in FCT Elections

Bala Mohammed, the former governor of Bauchi State, commended the People's Democratic Party (PDP) for its achievements in the recent council elections held in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). He emphasized that the PDP continues to be a formidable opposition party in Nigeria, despite facing internal crises and leadership challenges.

Mohammed's remarks came during a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Aso Rock Villa on a Friday. He argued that the PDP has demonstrated resilience and remains a significant political force, having survived for two decades amidst ongoing litigation and leadership disputes.

He highlighted the party's ability to maintain its status as a leading opposition coalition, even as some leaders, like Mohammed, have defected from the party.
