PDP Rally in Kwara Critiques Current Leadership

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) staged a rally in Kwara State, led by chairman Isa Adamu Bawa Mondai, where he criticized the current leadership as "accidental leaders" produced by the 'Otoge' movement that swept the PDP and the Saraki dynasty in the 2019 elections. Mondai declared the party's readiness to offer a new direction for the state ahead of the 2027 elections, emphasizing the need for unity and a stronger opposition.

He highlighted the public's growing frustration and desire for change, citing the failure of the so-called 'Otoge' experience to deliver meaningful progress, which has instead resulted in worsening insecurity and economic hardship. Mondai raised concerns about the neglect of rural communities and called for equal attention to all sections of society, urging youth to remain vocal and engaged.

He appealed to politicians and citizens across party lines, including those from APC and ADC, to join efforts to rebuild the state, prioritizing security, healthcare, and economic revival.
