Pentagon and SpaceX Partner in $2bn 'Golden Dome' Anti-Missile Project

The Pentagon is set to award SpaceX a $2 billion contract to collaborate on the 'Golden Dome' project, aiming to create an advanced missile defense system using 600 satellites for real-time tracking. This initiative, part of President Donald Trump's defense strategy, mirrors Israel's successful Iron Dome system.

The deal marks one of SpaceX's largest defense contracts and strengthens its strategic ties with the Pentagon, following previous collaborations with the Space Development Agency (SDA).
