Peter Obi: ‘He Is Just Deliberately Being Deceitful’ – Soludo Clarifies ‘Psychiatric Evaluation’ Remark On Single-term

During an interview on Arise Television's Prime Time program, former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Charles Soludo, clarified his remarks about a "psychiatric evaluation" for politicians promising to serve only one term. Soludo criticized Peter Obi, accusing him of being deliberately deceitful in making such promises.

He highlighted the trend of politicians in Anambra making similar pledges in the past, only to be rejected by voters. Soludo emphasized that such promises insult the intelligence of the people and stated that anyone making them is unfit for office.
