Phemmy Adetula Appointed Communications Director for NCF

The Nigeria Curling Federation (NCF) has appointed Phemmy Adetula as its Communications Director and a member of the Federation’s Board. This decision was made during a board meeting held over the weekend, aimed at strengthening strategic communication, enhancing stakeholder engagement, and increasing the visibility of curling in Nigeria.

NCF President Damola Daniel praised Adetula as one of Nigeria’s most accomplished sports communication professionals, highlighting his experience and reputation as vital to the Federation’s vision. Adetula, who received the Veteran Sports Journalist Award from the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria during its Diamond Jubilee celebration last year, has also served as a former Board Member and Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Olympic Committee.

In response to his appointment, Adetula expressed gratitude and emphasized his commitment to showcasing Nigerian curling and attracting new stakeholders to elevate the sport's prominence both nationally and internationally.
