Azeez Yusuf Announces Candidacy for Lagos Assembly Seat

Azeez Yusuf, popularly known as Nino, has declared his intention to contest for the Agege 02 seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly, representing the Progressive Congress (APC). His announcement was made on Wednesday at a gathering in Orile Agege, where he emphasized that his candidacy is driven by a commitment to serve the community rather than personal interests.

Yusuf, who has a history of philanthropic work, including providing scholarships to underprivileged students, stated that he aims to contribute to the development of Agege and champion causes that will drive government projects and programs beneficial to the community. Tunji Owokalad, a member of the party, described Yusuf as a grassroots figure who has earned the loyalty of the community through years of service.

Yusuf pledged to sustain his charitable initiatives alongside his legislative responsibilities if elected, asserting that it is time to give back to the community that has supported him.
