Investigation into Presidential Foreign Investment Council

On Wednesday, during a session at the National Assembly Complex in Abuja, representatives from various government sectors convened to address the unestablished Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC) within the Federal Budget Framework. Present were Mr Olufemi Akinola, representing the Inspector General of Police; Ms Nkiruka Jones-Nebo, Permanent Secretary of the Career Management Office; and Mrs Didi Esther Walson-Jack, Head of Civil Service of the Federation.

This meeting was part of the House of Representatives Ad-hoc Committee's investigation into the PFIPC, highlighting the government's efforts to scrutinize and potentially enhance its foreign investment strategies.
