Policemen Killed by Boko Haram Laid to Rest in Maiduguri

On a Saturday, two inspectors, Samuel Ezekiel and Sanusi Moh, along with constables Bitru Luka and Shaibu Bukar, were shot dead while repelling a terrorist attack by Boko Haram. The deceased were identified as members of the crack squad of the Borno State Police Command.

Their funeral rites were conducted on Sunday at Kawar Maila Burial Ground, located near the maximum prison in Maiduguri. The ceremony was attended by the Commissioner of Police for Borno State, Nazir Abdulmajid, and Assistant Commissioner of Police, Jawi Moh, among other officials.

The rites included prayers for the souls of the fallen officers, led by the command's chaplains, CSP Bukar Gajibo and CSP Theophilu Mutum. ASP Nahum Daso provided information regarding the incident and the subsequent funeral arrangements.
