Borno Police Honor Four Officers Killed in Nganzai Attack

On a Saturday, the Borno State Police Command held a solemn burial ceremony for four officers who lost their lives during a recent terrorist attack in Nganzai Local Government Area. The fallen officers included Inspector Samuel Ezekiel, Inspector Sanusi Moham, Constable Bitru Luka, and Constable Shaibu Bukar.

The interment took place at the Kawar Maila burial ground, also known as the maximum prison burial ground in Maiduguri, and was conducted in accordance with both Islamic and Christian rites. The event was attended by the Commissioner of Police for Borno State, CP Naziru Abdulmajid, alongside Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, ACP Jawi Moham, and other senior officers from the command.

Religious rites were conducted by the command's chaplaincy, including prayers offered by CSP Bukar M. Gajibo and CSP Theophilu Mutum.

The command described the slain officers as gallant personnel who paid the supreme price in the line of duty and commended their courage and commitment to national service.
