Sanwo-Olu Presents Vehicles to Level 17 Officers in Lagos

On Tuesday, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, presented official vehicles to Level 17 officers within the state public service. This gesture is described as a practical step to improve service delivery across the state's bureaucracy.

Sanwo-Olu emphasized that the provision of these vehicles would help the officers perform their duties effectively and enhance their motivation to serve the public. This presentation marks the third time Sanwo-Olu has undertaken such an initiative since January 2023, following the approval to distribute 100 brand new vehicles to Level 17 directors, which are allocated across various sectors including education, health, and mainstream civil service.

The vehicles were presented at the state secretariat in Alausa and are part of a rotational basis exercise to ensure that directors benefit over time. Level 17 is the highest grade in the Nigerian public service structure, typically occupied by directors and heads of departments.
