Tinubu to Launch N2.4tn Abuja ‘City Walk’ Project

President Bola Tinubu is set to officially unveil the N2.4 trillion Abuja ‘City Walk’ project on Thursday, which will develop a 250-hectare mixed-use urban district located along the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport corridor in the Federal Capital Territory. The ceremony is scheduled for 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Plot 28, Cadastral Zone C17, Industrial Area II, Abuja.

The project, developed by MAG Group through its parent company MAG International Link Limited, is expected to feature a 450-meter skyscraper, which will become Africa's tallest tower, housing commercial offices, hospitality facilities, and luxury residential developments. It will also include a 13,000-seat indoor arena, projected to be Nigeria's largest indoor sports and entertainment venue, alongside an art district and ecological corridor.

The project aims to attract long-term foreign investment and is part of a broader effort to revitalize the Abuja Technology Village, which has remained largely undeveloped for two decades. A joint venture agreement is expected to be signed in June 2025.
