Troops Arrest Boko Haram Supplier, Neutralize Commander

On Friday, the Nigerian military, through the 28 Task Force Brigade, apprehended Ismail Muham, a 28-year-old terrorist logistics supplier, in the Visik General Area of Hong Local Government Area, Adamawa State. The operation, led by Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba, resulted in the recovery of an AK-47 rifle, magazines, 7.62mm ammunition, assorted foodstuff, and two aerial drones along with their accessories.

The troops also neutralized a terrorist commander, Abdullahi Mafa, during an ambush operation near the Visik River line. Additionally, Dauda Usman Gubula, a 64-year-old identified as a collaborator and drone supplier for Boko Haram, was arrested.

The military emphasized that these operations are part of ongoing efforts to disrupt Boko Haram's supply lines and restore security in the northeastern region of Nigeria. The military high command commended the troops for their dedication and urged them to maintain operational tempo.
