Abia State Partners on Clean Mobility Initiative

The Presidential Initiative on Compressed Natural Gas and Electric Vehicles (Pi-CNG & EV), Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI), and the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) have collaborated with the Abia state government to promote clean energy and sustainable transportation. This partnership was solidified during a working visit to Abia State led by Dr. Armstrong Takang, the Chief Executive Officer of MOFI, where he was received by the state governor, Dr. Alex Otti.

Ismaeel Ahmed, Executive Chairman of Pi-CNG & EV, stated that energy, agriculture, and transportation are interconnected sectors essential for sustainable economic growth and improving Nigerians' quality of life. He emphasized that transportation is a critical enabler of economic activity.

Dr. Takang noted that national development must benefit communities beyond Abuja and highlighted the need for stronger collaboration and investment in energy, agriculture, and transportation to drive economic growth and improve livelihoods.
