Aborted Twins Discovered in Plateau Refuse Dump

On Wednesday, a heartbreaking discovery was made in Plateau, Nigeria, where aborted twins, identified as male and female and believed to be five months old, were found inside a polythene bag in a refuse dump behind a residential area. Danladi, a resident whose house is near the dump site, recounted that a commercial driver, returning from work, noticed a dog sniffing around the bag and alerted him.

Upon checking, they discovered the twins and immediately informed neighbors, leading to a gathering of eight residents who confirmed the painful sight. The community expressed outrage and condemned the act, particularly emphasizing the emotional toll on women in the area.

Danladi confirmed that the incident was not reported to authorities, and residents collectively agreed to bury the fetuses near the dump site. The discovery left the community in a somber mood, shaken and distressed by the incident.
