Plateau Group Praises Tinubu, Mutfwang for Highway Project

The Plateau Vanguard Democratic (PVD) group commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang for the approval to reconstruct the Akwanga-Jos Highway, a strategic route linking the North Central region of Nigeria. The group highlighted the deplorable condition of the highway and noted that the reconstruction would significantly relieve motorists, commuters, and traders along the corridor.

PVD's national coordinator, Chris Ishaku, stated that Governor Mutfwang's consistent engagement with federal authorities demonstrated a focused leadership approach. The group acknowledged the governor's efforts to prioritize the road project, which they believe will enhance economic security and reduce travel time upon completion.

They urged citizens to be patient during the construction phase, emphasizing that the long-term benefits would outweigh temporary inconveniences. The PVD also called on contractors to ensure quality delivery and encouraged communities along the route to cooperate with construction workers.

The group reaffirmed their support for Governor Mutfwang's commitment to infrastructure development in Plateau State.
