Mutfwang Commends Tinubu for Plateau-Taraba Highway Approval

Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State praised President Bola Tinubu for the approval of the dualization of the Plateau-Taraba Highway, which includes the construction of the Mararaban Jama to Pankshin, Langtang, and Shendam to River Ibi road. This project is described as a major economic corridor that will connect Plateau and Taraba states.

In a statement issued on Sunday by Gyang Bere, the Director of Press and Public Affairs, Mutfwang noted that the approval represents a historic intervention that will unlock the economic potential of Plateau State, strengthen regional integration, and improve the quality of life for millions of residents. The governor emphasized that the project will facilitate the movement of people and goods, reduce transportation costs, boost agricultural production, and attract investment while promoting tourism.

Mutfwang expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for addressing the aspirations of the people of Plateau and urged residents to support federal government projects in the state.
