JASAWA Community Condemns Plateau State Attack, Calls for Justice

The JASAWA community has condemned a recent violent attack that occurred on Sunday around 7:30 PM, where assailants on motorcycles fired indiscriminately into the community, causing panic and resulting in tragic loss of life and injuries among innocent citizens. In a statement signed by Alhaji Isyaku Inuwa and Sani Suleiman Mondai, the group described the incident as disturbing, criminal, and inhuman.

They expressed condolences to the families of the victims and called on the government to implement drastic measures to ensure justice. The community commended the leadership of Governor Barr Caleb Mutfwang and the proactive measures taken by security agencies to mitigate the situation.

However, they condemned the actions of individuals who resorted to blocking roads and attacking innocent passersby in response to the attack, urging them to refrain from such actions. The community called for intensified intelligence gathering and surveillance to track down the perpetrators and prevent further violence.
