PIGD Urges Kefiano for Detailed Development Agenda

The Plateau Initiative for Growth and Development (PIGD) called on Chief Kefas Ropshik Kefiano, the governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to present a comprehensive development agenda rather than emphasizing a commitment to serve only one term. In a statement released on a Monday by National Coordinator Nengak David, PIGD expressed concerns that the one-term pledge raises questions about Kefiano's priorities and campaign commitments, particularly regarding zoning.

The organization insisted that Plateau voters deserve clarity on how Kefiano plans to tackle critical issues such as insecurity, unemployment, infrastructure, agriculture, education, and healthcare. David stated that voters need to know what policies and measurable targets Kefiano will implement, rather than just his term length.

PIGD also urged all candidates in Plateau State to provide honest, issue-based campaigns and to allow voters to hold them accountable for their promises.
