PDP Names Dr. Daniel Kim as Kefiano's Running Mate

The State Executive Committee (SEC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced Dr. Daniel Kim as the running mate to Chief Kefas Ropshik Kefiano, the party's governorship candidate for the 2027 election in Plateau State.

Chief Kefiano expressed confidence in the PDP's strength despite recent litigations, asserting that he intends to serve only one term to maintain the state's zoning arrangement among its three senatorial districts. He highlighted the importance of adhering to this zoning, noting that previous deviations had led to electoral losses.

Kefiano claimed that the PDP has a 70% assurance of winning the upcoming election, criticizing the current government's performance and lack of visible capital projects. Hon Johnbull Shekarau commended the party's resilience, while Hon Peter Tongshien confirmed that all candidates' names have been submitted to the National Secretariat and uploaded to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal, indicating the party's readiness to commence its campaign.
