Plateau Youths Receive Business Skills Training for Empowerment

The Plateau State Microfinance Development Agency, in partnership with the Norwegian Refugee Council, has initiated a five-day business skills training program in Jos. The program aims to equip 60 selected youths from Bassa and Riyom local government areas with practical entrepreneurial competencies.

This initiative aligns with Governor Caleb Mutfwang's focus on youth empowerment and enterprise development. The training includes personalized learning sessions to enhance participants' business knowledge and mindset.

The program director, Bomkam Wuyep, emphasized the importance of empowering young people with essential business skills to stimulate local enterprises, reduce unemployment, and strengthen the Plateau State economy.
